Junior Carnival 3 (Program & HLSC Competitor List attached)

Parent duties will be confirmed in the week leading up to the event.

Club Tents: Clubs are required to make sure that their tents are correctly weighted down. Please note that star pickets or pegs are not to be used on grass foreshore areas.

Parking and Club Trailers: Gear trailers are permitted within a designated area on the grass, likely as per previous years along The Esplanade – a plan is currently in process with the Great Ocean Road Coastal Committee (GORCC) and will be communicated prior to the carnival. Please note that car parking is not permitted on the grass areas along The Esplanade. You will find general parking in bays along The Esplanade and throughout side streets. Event participants are encouraged to park in designated parking areas around Point Danger precinct.

Meeting and Event Times:
6:30am – Set Up Commences
7:30am – Carnival Referee Briefing with Area Referees
7:45am – Officials meeting to be conducted in front of the LSV administration tent
8:00am – Team Managers meeting to be conducted in front of the LSV administration tent
8:30am – Marshal for events
9:00am – Events commence

Plastic Wise Policy: All athletes, officials and spectators are requested to bring re-useable water bottles as LSV is working in partnership with Surf Coast Shire and Great Ocean Road Committee to facilitate a plastic wise plan.

Food: Torquay SLSC will be providing a BBQ.

Photography:
• Before any photographs are taken by any person(s), photographers must obtain a media identification wristband that must be worn for the duration of the event.
• Media wristbands can be obtained by registering at the Life Saving Victoria Carnival Administration tent.
• Proof of Working with Children Check must be provided at registration.

LIFE SAVING VICTORIA WILL NOT ACCEPT ENTRIES AFTER SUNDAY 29 DECEMBER.
