The Under 15 Leadership Development Camp presents a fantastic opportunity for the
youth members of Life Saving Clubs to enhance their leadership skills and further
develop interpersonal skills in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will be
challenged in a number of ways by completing problem solving tasks, trust and
teamwork exercises. They will gain an exclusive insight into Life Saving Victoria (LSV)
and develop a state-wide network of friends. The Camp will take place on the following
dates -
Friday, 27 April to Sunday, 29 April 2018
YMCA Camp Manyung, Mt Eliza
Clubs are encouraged to assist with promotion of the U15 Leadership Development Camp to eligible members.
Camp Objectives
• Develop Leadership and Life Skills
• Develop Interpersonal Skills
• Develop Friendships and Network with members from across the state
• Solve Challenging, Problem Solving tasks
• Complete Trust and Teamwork exercises
Applicant Pre – requisites
Applicants should be:
• 14 or 15 years of age at the time of the camp
• In good standing with their club

• Applications are required to include a written club endorsement, in support of the application
