• Qualifying events for the Board Rescue (U12s and U13s) and the Ironman/Woman (U11-U13s) will
be conducted at the Junior Carnival on Sunday, 5 February 2023 at Pt Leo. Semi-finals and final to be held at the Victorian Junior Lifesaving Championships.
• There will be no composite teams for Belt and Reel.

CLUB DUTIES:
Set Up: x 1 person report to LSV tent & sign on.
Pack Down: x 1 person report to LSV tent at the conclusion of the carnival & sign on.
Shallow Water Rescue: x 1 adult 18+ yrs with Bronze medallion

Parking:
Permit parking only at surf club driveway. General parking available on grassed area at rear of Beach Kiosk, in Lake Pertobe Playground and at McGennans Carpark. Warrnambool’s crew are usually great at directing early morning traffic.

Food/Drinks:
- Please bring plenty of snacks and water for your athletes.
- Please ensure you have refillable water bottles, not single use plastic. Filling stations will be available along the upper beach path.
- Hot food will be available Friday 12pm onwards and both Saturday and Sunday 8am onwards from the Lions Club Tent.
- Coffee will be available from both Simons Waterfront (Surf Club Building) and the Beach Side Kiosk (adjacent pedestrian crossing).
- The club bar will be open each day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 4PM onwards.

Photography:
Before any photographs are taken by any person(s), photographers must obtain a media identification wristband that must be worn for the duration of the event. Wristbands can be obtained by registering at the LSV Carnival Administration desk from 8:00am. Proof of Working with Children Check or a current Victorian Institute of Teaching card (which is linked to WWCC) must be provided at registration.
