This Saturday the 17th marks the Annual Pink Patrol! Pink Patrol is a SLSA initiative to champion our Women in Surf Life Saving. 2024 marks the 44th anniversary of women being ‘allowed to’ obtain their bronze medallion – Let’s celebrate that!

Our patrollers of the day will be decked out in Pink for the special occasion; it is encouraged that our nippers join them by finding their best pink bathers, outfits and hats – ensuring that our gorgeous green rashie is still visible of course! If you’ve got pink zinc, hairspray, nail-polish
and ribbons ensure both you and your child embrace this awesome day to celebrate women! Regardless of your gender get around this amazing day and welcome the bold pink domination with open arms – their may even be some free snags for the best outfits.

WHEN:
Set Up Team, Age Managers & Junior Coaches arrive @ 2:30pm
Nipper Families arrive @ 2:45pm
Age Manager & Junior Coach Briefing upstairs @ 2:45pm – Sophie Pratt
Water Safety Team Briefing downstairs @ 2:50pm – Lucas Welsh

We will then kick off with some parent and junior coach wade races with Zooper doopers for the age group on the line! With all Junior coaches and at minimum 2 parents for that age group completing in two heats for the delicious treat! Then, we will move into our usual program.

I will be absent this week, Sophie Pratt & Joseph Hetherington will be there to assist with any questions or queries on the day – the information about Life Saving events will be posted shortly.
