It is with great pleasure to inform all Youth/ Senior Beach Athletes that we have been extremely fortunate to secure the coaching services of Paul Taylor for the upcoming season.
Paul comes to us with a wealth of experience and success. He has been involved in life saving for nearly 20 years (8 years at Bon Beach and 11 Mordialloc) and has his bronze, silver and ARTC awards.
He has competed in Masters at state and national level and has won a few state medals and made a couple of Aussie finals.
Paul has been the Beach Coach at Mordialloc LSC for the past 7 years where he has coached them to many state finals. Under his coaching, Mordialloc have featured in over 30 Aussies finals and won 9 medals at National Championships.
Paul has been the Victorian State team coach and has been involved with the state team for many years. He was also involved with the Victorian HIgh Performance squads.
Along with Paul, Emily and Sarah Carty, both extremely successful Open Beach Athletes, will be transferring over to Hampton this season.
A meeting for all 2019/2020 Youth/ Senior Beach Athletes will be held next Sunday 11 August from 1-2.30pm at the Club.
This will give Paul an opportunity to meet the Hampton beachies and set up a training plan for the upcoming season.
Athletes who are under 18 are asked to bring a parent along.
